The Ionia Volleyball B Team had an opportunity tonight to face an in town opponent.  The Bulldogs traveled down the hill to take on SSPP in a 2 set match.  In set one Brooke Fellows and Harper Tumbleson served up four aces and Aaliyuh Swinehart and Peyton Batista each added one.  Both teams had some great back and forth rallies towards the end of the set and the Lady Dawgs were pumped!  Ionia won 25-19.  Ionia carried the momentum into set 2 with Brooke and Liz Glaspie serving up 3 aces each and Kaylee Rosloniec dropping one in from the line.  Aaliyuh Swinehart was a powerhouse at the net putting down a kill.  Lynn Bailey, Harper and Peyton had some very nice passes on serve receive that kept the ball in play allowing for the Bulldog front row to send it over.  Ionia won 25-20.  Thank you to SSPP for inviting us to play.  Ionia will travel on Wednesday to Waverly.
