As postseason play begins this week, our boys golf, baseball, and softball teams will compete in regional and district tournaments, showcasing the hard work and dedication they have demonstrated all season long. Girls Varsity TrackBrynn Steffen – State Meet Athlete SpotlightStepping onto the biggest stage of the season, Brynn Steffen delivered a standout performance at the MHSAA Division 2 Track & Field State Finals, gaining valuable experience and proving she belongs among the state’s best.Competing in the girls discus, Brynn entered an incredibly competitive field stacked with upperclassmen—and notably, she was the youngest athlete in the entire discus field. Despite that, she showed poise well beyond her years. Saranac opened the scoring in the top of the first scoring 3 runs. The bulldogs scored one run in the bottom of the first. The Bulldogs were able to tied the game in the bottom of the fourth thanks to a single by Taylor Ferris, and a walk by Alexis Jensen.Unfortunately the Bulldogs were unable to battle back from the 4 runs Saranac scored in the top of the 5th and fell 6-10 in 5 innings.
