2024-25 IHS SPORTS REGISTRATION

Ionia High School offers 25 athletic programs to its students over three sports seasons.  With 21 of these sports being sponsored by the MHSAA.  Go to Ioniaathletic.org and click on HS Sports in the menu bar for more details.

Registration can be completed online or in the Athletic Department Office at the HS:

Online registration is open and can be completed at any time.

In person registration will begin on Wednesday, July 31st and can be done during regular office hours from 7:00-3:00 on any day school is in session.

*Please note that if you played sports for IPS last year, you don't need to create a new account, as you should be able to login to your Student Central account to update your information, upload your current physical, and complete all acknowledgments.

 Go to https://studentcentral.bigteams.com/ and create an account (Parents and students must each create an account).

In person registration may occur during normal business hours from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm at the HS with athletic secretary Wendi Gross.

Registration requirements:

Create Parent and Student account

Complete all forms

Complete Handbook/Athletic Code acknowledgment form

Upload completed physical (please contact the athletic department office for help)

IPS and the MHSAA require all athletes to have a current physical on file for the 2024-25 school year to guarantee their health and safety.  Click on the link for physical forms and directions

*Note that IHS athletes can register for any sport you wish to play at this time as well. 

Spring sports starton March 10th (see dates below) for HS athletes and all student-athletes MUST be registered and have a physical on file before participating.
