Greetings Bulldog Supporters,

The student-athletes of Ionia High School are fortunate to be a part of a community that has a history of being very supportive. Through your generosity over the years, IHS has been able to continue to provide educational opportunities through our athletic programs without having pay-to-play fees like so many of our neighboring communities charge. In order to continue providing these athletic opportunities without pay-to-play fees for our families, I encourage you to support the Ionia Affiliated Athletic Boosters (IAAB) by becoming a Super Booster.

The IAAB is a nonprofit organization made up of parents, grandparents, coaches, and volunteers that have worked in cooperation with the IHS athletic department for more than 20 years. The goal of the organization is to provide funding for equipment, financial aid, facility improvements, and many other items in support of our student-athletes. The IAAB raises funds to support all of our teams through concessions sales, 50/50 raffles, advertising, and numerous other events/fundraisers. Last year the boosters provided over $50,000.00 in additional funding to our 25 athletic programs, as well as, pledging another $55,000.00 to improving weight room and the safety nets put up between the baseball field, tennis courts, and the stadium. The largest portion of those funds typically come from their Super Boosters program in which businesses and families can show their bulldog pride through financial support.  Last year we had over 85 Super Boosters, which is our highest number in years, allowing the IAAB to provide even more for our athletes.

Last year, our Bulldog teams won 2 MHSAA district championships, had 19 state finals qualifiers, 5 all-state athletes, and 8 athletes who signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.  The IAAB is ready to get their Super Boosters program up and running for the 2024-25 sports seasons. It is the goal of the Ionia Athletic Department and the IAAB to partner with our local businesses, community members, and parents to develop good citizens who will become the future leaders of Ionia. Please help us make this possible through your continued support of IHS student-athletes by becoming a Super Booster for the 2024-25 school year and showing your pride in our teams, school, and community.
