The Girls 7th Grade Volleyball B Team won their first match of the season tonight!  Ionia dropped the first set 15-25 and then battled back in the next two sets to win 25-18 and 15-6.  Let's Go!  Harper Tumbleson was on fire from the service line.  She dropped in 6 aces and 4 service points to lead the Bulldogs.  Also recording aces were Kaylee Rosloniec, Lynn Bailey, Brooke Fellows and Liz Glaspie.  It took a total team effort and great energy to battle for the second set and defeat an aggressive Eaton Rapids team.  The team was hustling and working together to win each point.  A key play during the second set was when Peyton Batista had a great save from the back row and the team won the point.  Aaliyuh Swinehart helped the team on defense and had solid net play.  Well done, Bulldogs!  It's great to see the team step up their game after losing the first set.  The Bulldogs battled tough and wanted it more.  Ionia is 1-5 on the season and will travel to St. Johns on Monday.  Let's Go Bulldogs!
