PORTLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL : 3.00
The 7th grade Volleyball B Team came off the bench ready to play the Portland Raiders tonight. The Lady Dawgs fought hard but came up short losing 18-25, 14-25 and 6-15. The team showed huge improvements in serving and passing tonight!! Liz Glaspie led the way with 5 aces and 1 dig. Brooke Fellows had 2 aces and 3 service points. Peyton Batista tallied an ace, a kill and a dig. Aliyah Ross and Lynn Bailey continue their solid defense from the back row with several nice digs!! Kaylee Rosloniec and Aaliyuh Swinehart decided to play a bit of pepper over the net with Portland as the ball went back and forth between them and the other team over 6 times in a row! Contributing to the team play tonight was Harper Tumbleson with 3 digs. Way to go, Bulldogs! Ionia is 0-4 on the season and will travel to Lakewood on Monday. Let's go, Bulldogs!
