Girls 7th Grade B Volleyball falls to Lakewood Middle School

LAKEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL: 3
The 7th grade Volleyball B Team had a rocky start to the season tonight as they faced a tough Lakewood team. The Bulldogs dropped the first set 16-25. Ionia came out strong in the second set and battled Lakewood all the way to the end. Ionia came up a few points short and lost 22-25. The third and final set was tough. Ionia lost 7-15. As the match progressed the Bulldogs began to work together and started to get their serves over. Peyton Batista and Kaylee Rosloniec led the Bulldogs in serving. Ionia is 0-1 on the season and will face Lansing Catholic Middle School on Monday at IMS. Go Bulldogs!
