Girls 7th Grade B Volleyball loses to Portland

The Ionia B Volleyball Team faced the Portland Raiders in their final match of the season. The Lady Dawgs played tough. The first set went back and forth until the Raiders pulled away and won 21-25. Ionia continued to play strong and work together all throughout the second set. The girls served well and hustled on defense. Ionia came up short losing the set 21-25. Ionia continued to wow the crowd in the third and final set of their season. Serves, spikes and some awesome defense propelled the Lady Dawgs to a victory 15-10. Kenadie McCoy finished the set with 5 straight serves. A shout out to all the girls on the B Team: what a great season! Ionia finishes with a 5-5 record.
