Girls 7th Grade B Volleyball wins in three against St. Johns Middle School

ST. JOHNS MIDDLE SCHOOL: 1
The Ionia B Volleyball Team faced a tough opponent in St. Johns tonight. The first set was a battle from the first serve to the last. Ionia played tough and managed to win 26-24. Ionia and St. Johns exchanged serves and points and were tied for most of the set. At 19-19 St. Johns pulled away and Ionia lost 21-25. The third and deciding set brought out the best in the B Team. Ionia served well and passed the ball with purpose. Ionia won a closely contested set 15-13, handing Ionia the match win over St. Johns. Ionia is 5-4 on the season and will travel to Portland to play their final match of the season.
