The Ionia B Volleyball team was on fire tonight! What a match. The first set was a battle. Ionia served well and started to really gel on defense. Jordyn Ciganick lead all servers with five points in the first set. Unfortunately, Ionia dropped the first set 19-25. It seemed like the first set was a warm up. Ionia was ready to play the second set. Aizlin Barna served nine straight points and passed the ball well to jump start the team. Ionia's team work carried them to a 25-15 victory. Emily Wood scored the final point with a bump kill. Ionia jumped out to 6-2 lead behind four straight service points from Ryley Helmes. Ionia never looked back. The girls played well and won 15-9. The Ionia B Volleyball Team is 4-4 on the season and will face St. Johns at home on Monday. Come out and support your Lady Dawgs!
