FOWLERVILLE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Ionia B Volleyball team faced a tough opponent in Fowlerville on the road. The first set was a back and forth battle that went down to the wire. With the set tied at 23, Courtney Thomas served two aces to clinch the victory for Ionia 25-23. Kenadie McCoy had three kills in the set. The battle continued into the second set with the Lady Dawgs really working as a team on defense. Mirroring the first set, the score was 23-22 and Ryley Helmes stepped back, clutch served two aces to close out the set, 25-22. The momentum continued into the third set and Ionia pulled out the broom and won 15-13. Jordyn Ciganick had 11 service points and Elle Lepley had 8. Ionia B Team is 3-4 on the season and will face Charlotte at home on Wednesday. Come out and support your Lady Dawgs
