The Ionia B Volleyball Team played well tonight! The Lady Dawgs faced a tough opponent as the first set was a back and forth battle. Ionia ended up losing a heartbreaker 24-26. Ionia rallied in the second set behind the strong serving of Jordyn Ciganick (10 service points) and the defensive passing of Melanie White. Ionia won 25-7. The third set was controlled by the Lady Dawgs from the onset. Serves were accurate and Ionia passed the ball well as a team. Ionia won the set 15-9 to secure the match. Ionia is 2-4 on the season and will travel to Fowlerville on Monday.
