The Ionia B Volleyball team faced a tough visiting Portland team tonight. The Portland Raiders served well and Ionia struggled to serve receive. The Lady Dawgs seemed to stay on the defensive and dropped the first set 8-25. The second set was more of a battle. Ionia served and passed the ball well. Their team work started to gel. Ionia stayed in the set until the very end, losing 20-25. Ionia continued to struggle with Portland's serve and dropped the third set 4-15. The Ionia B Team is 1-4 and will travel to Eaton Rapids on Wednesday.
