CHARLOTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 3
The Ionia B Volleyball team traveled to Charlotte to take on the Orioles. The Lady Dawgs battled hard in all three sets. The match was a serve and serve receive battle and Ionia played tough all the way to the final whistle. Ionia fell just short in each set losing 18-25, 18-25 and 11-15. Ryley Helmes and Aizlin Barna led the Lady Dawgs in service points and Dakota McConnon was solid defensively with some great passing. Ionia falls to 0-3 for the season and will play at home on Wednesday.
