DEWITT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 2
The Girls 7th Grade B Volleyball team faced DeWitt this evening and although they struggled in the first game the Lady Dawgs played 2 of their best games to finish the match. Ionia lost the first game 8-25 but played an amazing second game. The Bulldogs rallied behind the strong serving of Jordyn Roth, Rain Pinnow and Dalilah Tubergen. Ionia fell just two points short losing 23-25. The third game started with solid defense from Kiara Goodsell and the players stepped up their serving game. Ionia won a thrilling 15-11 game. The Ionia B Team is 1-4 on the season and will travel to Eaton Rapids on Monday.
