GRAND LEDGE HIGH SCHOOL: 31
Ionia girls raced strong on Saturday at the Greater Lansing Division 2 Competition to finish in 2nd place out of 8 teams with a team score of 92 points. Lansing Catholic came in first place with a score of 31 points. Four of the six Ionia girls running had a season record time today. Maddie Hanulcik came in 5th place with a SR time of 20:22. Clara Deeren finished 8th with a SR time of 21:05. Jordyn Diebel also had a SR time of 22:07 to come in 16th place. Avery Roundtree ran a 23:35 to finish in 25th place. Tejia Castle ran a 25:02 to come in 38th place. Tempyst Aikens ran a SR time of 26:25 to finish in 47th place. Maddie Hanulcik and Clara Deeren both brought home medals for their Top 10 finishes. The next races for the girls will be the Final League Jamboree for the season and the Pre-regional race on Oct. 24th.
