The Girls Cross Country team competed in a meet on Wednesday, September 30th against Saranac and Shepherd. Ionia girls won the meet with 25 points. Saranac came in second place with 40 points, and Shepherd was third with 59 points. The times and finishing places for the girls include: Maddie Hanulcik (21:16 in 2nd place), Clara Deeren (21:39 in 3rd), Avery Roundtree (23:22 in 5th), Jordyn Diebel (23:37 in 7th), Kayla King (23:41 in 8th), Tejia Castle (25:50 in 18th), Breann Wandell (25:54 in 19th), and Tempyst Aikens (27:31 in 24th). The Ionia girls will compete again on Saturday at the Allendale meet.
