Girls Cross Country Take Second at First League Jamboree

In the first league jamboree of the season, Ionia girls came in second place. Lansing Catholic won with 20 points, Ionia had 56, Eaton Rapids came in third with 75, Charlotte had 90, and Portland ended with 129 points. Times for the Ionia girls were Maddie Hanulcik (4th place at 21:05), Clara Deeren (8th place at 21:48), Jordyn Diebel (13th at 22:49), Avery Roundtree (15th at 22:58), Kayla King (16th place with a personal record of 23:03), Tejia Castle (22nd place with a season record of 24:18), Breann Wandell (32nd place at 26:03), and Tempyst Aikens (37th place at 27:37). Ionia’s next competition will be at the Allendale Meet.
