The IMS boys cross country team ran in the Olivet Jamboree this evening, finishing in 4th place with 93 points.  It was a great day to be a Bulldog as many of the runners set personal records today.  Pacing the way for the Bulldogs was Aaron Lepley who finished in 14th place with a PR time of 13:48, crushing his previous record by 48 seconds.  He was followed by Orion Nervig in 15th place with his own PR of 13:54.  Other runners earning points for the Bulldogs and setting personal records included Jacob Shattuck (26th) PR 14:59, and Taiytum McCarty (36th) PR 15:22.  Wyatt Johnson finished strong with a 17:17, and Jaxson Wittenbach fought hard for his 17:46 time.  Karim Vazquez also had a great run and set a new PR with an 18:25 time, and Bentley Decker gave everything he had to earn his 18:59 time.  Great work Bulldogs.

Ionia's next cross country race will be Monday, September 16th in Holt.  Boys will race at 5:00pm, Girls at 5:30pm.
