The Ionia Middle School boys cross country team competed again Charlotte and Waverly at the Ionia High School Monday 9/26/2022. Ionia won the meet with 35 points, followed by Waverly with 36 and Charlotte with 52.

There were a total of 32 boys competing in competition tonight, and Ionia had some very strong performances. Scoring points for the Bulldogs included Liam Thelen (1^st – 14:08.69), Conner Morrison (4^th – 14:31.41), Austin Perrone (5^th – 14:32.00), Orion Nervig (11^th – 15:46.00), Owen Yokom (14^th – 16:11.94), Riley Jerome (15^th – 16:34.28), Bryce Shattuck (19^th – 17:17.53), Jacob Shattuck (21th – 17:18.24), Xander Towery (24^th – 17:41.53), Talon Thompson (26^th – 18:01.56), Bentley Decker (28^th – 18:26.62), Jackson Triewieler (29^th – 19:35.25), Blake Bennet (30^th – 19:48.72), and Jackson Fuller (32th – 23:34.88)

The Bulldogs will travel to Jackson on Thursday, September 29^th to compete in the Parkside Invitational at Ella Sharp Park.
