The IMS boys cross country team traveled to DeWitt on Monday night to compete in the Greater Lansing Junior CC Championship.  This meet consists of two separate races, one that includes the top 10 runners from each team, followed by an Open Boys Run.

In the Top 10 boys race Ionia finished in 8th place place out of 27 teams.  Finishing in the Top 50 and earning medals for the Bulldogs were Rowan Spearman (42-12:34.8) and Riley Yokom (43-12:35.8).  Other strong performances included: Wolton Sandborn (52-12:43.6), Gabe Rogers (104-13:44.2), Jaxxon Thelen (109-13:47.4), Cadence Denis-Griffith (127-13:58.1), Nolan Hart (136-14:04.3), and Dalles Bailiff (182-15:16.2).

In the Open Boys race Ionia finished in 11th place out of 15 teams.  Finishing in the Top 50 and earning medals for the Bulldogs were Austin Perrone (32-14:41.1) and Xander Towery (36-14:48.5).  Other great finishers included: Conner Morrison (58-15:33.2), Anthony Shattuck (96-16:20.4), Brody Haney (133-17:47.6), Cole Petersen (144-18:13.7), Cody Waterman (157-19:00.0), and Ben Glick (210-22:56.2)
