CHARLOTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 26
The Ionia Middle School cross country teams traveled to the Country Mill Orchard and Cider Mill Tuesday night, competing against teams from Charlotte, Haslett, and Waverly. Haslett won the boy's meet with 26 points, followed by Ionia with 33. Charlotte and Waverly did not have team scores because they did not have a minimum of 5 runners on their team.
There were a total of 58 boys in the competition and finishing in 1st place overall was your Bulldog Rowan Spearman, with a time of 12:49.11. Other runners earning points for the Bulldogs included Riley Yokom (5th place - 13:28.45), Nolan Hart (6th place - 13:29.82), Gabe Rogers (14th place - 14:13.71), and Nate Wood (15th place - 14:15.26). Nice work, Ionia!
The Bulldogs will travel to Jackson on Thursday, September 30th to compete in the Parkside Invitational.
