LESLIE HIGH SCHOOL: 33
The IMS boys cross country team traveled to Leslie on Wednesday, September 15th to compete in the Blackhawk Invitational. DeWitt won the contest with 33 points, followed by Adrian (62), Olivet (90), Napoleon (108), Ionia (114), Leslie (144), Owens (212), and Stockbridge (223).
Runners finishing the top 30 received a medal. Congratulations to Wolton Sandborn (6th place - 13:24), Riley Yokom (23rd place - 14:00.34), and Rowan Spearman (25th place - 14:04.93) for earning medals for the Bulldogs. Other performances to highlight included Xander Towery (16:50.12), Austin Perrone (18:08.59), and Ben Glick (22:29.50). A big shout out to 6th grader Owen Yokom, who crushed his old PR by over 7 minutes, improving his time to 19:02.44.
The Bulldogs will travel to Holt on Monday, September 20th.
