LANSING CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL: 42
Ionia boys jv defeated Lansing Catholic by a score of 58-42 on Tuesday night. We held them to just 13 points in the first half giving a solid lead at halftime. The second half turned into an offense battle as the game went back and forth but Catholic could never close the gap.
Mason Braman was a big part of the offense in the second half, scoring 4 three pointers in the third quarter alone, in route to 14 total points. Wolton Sandborn also finished with 14 points, scoring some crafty finishes inside. Dawson Leland had 8 points and 11 rebounds, while Carter Ralston and Nolan Hart had 6 assists a piece.
Jude Gregory put a bow on the night by nailing a three pointer as the end of game buzzer sounded in his first game appearance of the season.
Ionia jv improves to 14-7, and will travel to Lakewood for their final game of the season Thursday night for a 7:00 tip-off
