DEWITT HIGH SCHOOL: 60
Ionia jv boys basketball team was defeated by Dewitt on Monday night by a score of 60-33. We put together a solid first half of play but struggled to string stops together in the second half.
Grant Starks played a good, well rounded game and was the leading scorer with 11 points. Aiden Washington added 10 points. Kadyn Ross was quiet in the scoring column tonight but continues his growth defensively and put together a nice game on the defensive end of the floor.
Ionia will travel to Hastings on Friday for a triple header game with a 5:30 jv tip-off.
