Ionia boys jv basketball was defeated by a very solid Lansing Sexton team by a score of 64-37.

We put together a nice game plan and were able to execute for 3 quarters of the game. Halfway through the third quarter, we found ourselves in a one possession game. Down the stretch Sexton was able to wear us down and we struggled to finish shots on the offensive end.

Aiden Washington was a key factor in the game, scoring 19 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Cash Hummel scored 6 points to go with 5 rebounds, and Sam Montgomery played all 32 minutes, playing excellent on the defensive end.

Ionia jv will take on Lansing Catholic next week Tuesday at 5:30 for a home triple header.
