Ionia boys jv basketball was defeated by Portland by a score of 39-22 on Thursday night.
We did a great job on the defensive end for the majority of the game but really struggled to score. Aiden Washington and Grant Starks both chipped in 8 points. Braeden Piggot played well on the defensive side, totaling 8 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.
Ionia will travel to Lansing Eastern on Monday Feb, 3 for a triple header. Jv tip-off at 5:30.
