Ionia jv boys basketball team was defeated by Lakewood by a score of 62-51 on Thursday night.
The freshmen trio of Grant Starks, Aiden Washington, and Bryce Shattuck led the scoring for the Bulldogs, with Grant scoring 17, Aiden scoring 19 and Bryce scoring 9. Braeden Piggott played excellent in his minutes tonight scoring 3 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.
Ionia jv will play their next game on Tuesday, January 21 with a home triple header vs Mason. Jv tip-off at 5:30.
