Boys JV Basketball Picks Up Road Win at Charlotte

Ionia jv boys basketball defeated Charlotte by a score of 43-37 on Tuesday night. We got off to a slow start in the game but battled back and trusted our defense to help us compete all night. We held Charlotte to just 2 points in the second quarter and 8 points in the third quarter.
sam Montgomery, Cash Humell, and Evan Jones were all excellent on the defensive end. On the flip side Bryce Shattuck and Grant Starks were great in the offensive end. Bryce tallied 19 points while Grant added 16 points.
Ionia jv improves to 3-9 on the season and will play their next game Friday night in Ionia for a 3 game triple header. Jv game will tip-off at 5:30.
