HASTINGS HIGH SCHOOL: 74
Ionia jv boys basketball team was defeated by Hastings by a score of 41-74 on Friday night. We got off to a slow start and were not good on the defensive end all night, leading to our result.
Cash Hummel was a bright spot for Ionia as he scored 8 points and competed hard all game. Bryce Shattuck also contributed 8 points and 5 assists and played well throughout the game.
Ionia will travel to Charlotte next week Tuesday for a triple header. Jv will tip off at 5:30.
