J.W. SEXTON HIGH SCHOOL: 54
Ionia Boys JV basketball team was defeated by Lansing Sexton by a score of 54-49 on Thursday night. It was a back and forth battle all game and came down to the last seconds with a few bounces going Sexton's way in the end.
Wolton Sandborn played well, totaling 10 points. Carter Ralston and Dawson Leland each scored 11 a piece, while Derrick Santana and Nolan Hart provided on the defensive end.
Ionia JV will take on Lansing Catholic for the last home game of the season Tuesday at 5:30.
