Ionia Boys JV basketball team was defeated by Charlotte by a score of 41-39 on Tuesday night. It was a back and forth battle all game and came down to the last seconds.
Wolton Sandborn played well, totaling 15 points and 5 steals. Mason Braman scored 11 points, while Caiden Sayers gave good defensive minutes late in the game.
Ionia JV will take on Lansing Sexton Thursday night at Sexton with a 7:00 pm tip-off.
