LANSING CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL: 42
Ionia boys jv basketball team defeated Lansing Catholic by a score of 51-42 on Tuesday night.
The game was tied at halftime with both teams going back and forth. Our pressure was giving them problems, but were struggling to finish on the other end. Up 3 at the end of the third, the offense came to life and Ionia found themselves on a big run to start the quarter.
Nolan Hart scored 12 points on the night, including 4/4 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter to put the game on ice. Wolton Sandborn put together another fantastic game with a 14 point, 10 rebound double double. Carter Ralston put together his best performance in a while with 9 points and 5 assists.
Ionia jv improves to 7-4 and will take on Lakewood Thursday night for a 7 pm jv tip-off
