Ionia Boys JV basketball team was defeated by Charlotte by a score of 36-27 on Tuesday night. Ionia trailed most of the way tonight, making a big run to start the fourth quarter but ultimitely couldn't score enough points to finish the comeback effort.

Ethan Wenzel scored 7 points and played well defensively in the late run and Mason Braman scored 2 three-pointers for 6 total points.

Ionia JV will take on Lansing Sexton Thursday night with a 7 pm tip-off.
