ST. JOHNS HIGH SCHOOL: 58
Ionia Boys JV basketball team was defeated by St. Johns by a score of 58-40 on Tuesday night. Ionia kept the game close for most of the night, but a big St. Johns run in the fourth quarter put the game away for good.
Dawson Leland scored 11 points with 8 rebounds. Ethan Wenzel scored 7 points and played well defensively.
Ionia JV will take on Portland Thursday night with a 7 pm tip-off.
