CHARLOTTE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 45
The Ionia jv boys basketball team was defeated by Charlotte by a score of 45-40 on Monday night.
We really struggled to shoot the ball tonight and points were tough to come by. Brent Starks played well and was the leading scorer with 11 points. Wolton Sandborn was really solid on defense and scored 10 points of his own.
The Ionia boys jv stand at 19-1 on the season and stand at 9-1 in the conference. We will take on Greenville on a back to back, Tuesday with a 5:30 jv tip-off.
