TRI-COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL: 48
The Ionia boys Jv basketball team defeated Tri-County Jv by a score of 73-48. We held them to just 4 points in the first quarter and then our offense starting clicking for the rest of the game. We were able to put up big points tonight in a game where every person on the team scored a basket.
Brent Starks led the way with 21 points in the game. Jaxon Palmer had 7 points, and Ryan Lee scored 5 points in the second quarter alone. It was nice to see everybody contribute, and the guys were all happy for each other.
Ionia JV improves to 18-0 on the season, and will take on Lansing Sexton Thursday evening with a 7pm jv tip-off.
