The Ionia jv boys basketball team defeated rival Portland by a score of 54-37. Once again the Bulldogs were excellent on the defensive end holding Portland to just 3 points in the first quarter.

Myles Perrien dominated in the paint tonight, racking up a huge double double with 15 rebounds and 13 points. Wyatt Erridge added 12 points to go with 4 steals and Colt Piercefield had 8 points and 5 steals.

The Ionia boys jv improve to 16-0 on the season and stand at 8-0 in the conference. We will travel to Alma on Tuesday for a 5:30 jv tip-off.
