The Ionia jv boys basketball team won a defensive battle by a score of 49-38. We got out to fast start, scoring 17 in the first quarter and then the scoring slowed until the 4th quarter. Ionia scored 15 in the 4th to close the game.

Wyatt Erridge led the charge with 9 points. Braylon Granger went 5 for 6 from the free throw line to seal the game and Trevor Hodges played his best game of the season.

The Ionia boys jv improves to 9-0, and stand at 4-0 in the conference. We will travel to Lansing Sexton on Thursday with a 7:00 pm tip-off.
