The Ionia Boys Jv Basketball Team defeated Ovid Elsie by a score of 52-36 on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs led 32-10 at halftime and took care of business in the second half. Max Doty led the way with 11 points and 8 rebounds, while Henry Castle added 9 points and 8 rebounds of his own. Carter Castillo and Matt McCoy played well on both ends of the floor to keep this game out of reach. Gage Flanner took another charge, which rounded out a nice defensive game.

Ionia Jv improves to 17-0 overall and they stand at 9-0 in the conference. We will take on Lansing Catholic Thursday at 7 in Ionia.
