Ionia JV falls to Lansing Catholic 59-45.
Ionia JV traveled to Lansing Catholic and took on a very physical Cougars team. The Bulldogs lead by two going into half time. The cougars turned up the defensive pressure in the second half and forced Ionia into many second half turnovers. Ionia would eventually fall 59-45.
Lane Thomas lead the Bulldogs with 14 points, Lance Atkinson 8, Clay Currigan and Jimmy Peabody with 6, AJ Castillo 5 points, Kullen Granger 4 points, Cy Baylis and Tanner Gregory with 1 point.
Ionia moves to 6-2 on the season and will take on Eaton Rapids next Thursday at 7:00.
