Ionia JV defeated Charlotte 51-47.

Ionia looked to bounce back after a tough loss Tuesday night. The Bulldogs came out hot scoring 15 first quarter points. Ionia went into halftime up 24-19. Charlotte kept it close all the way till the end. Ionia came up with some key rebounds and clutch free throws to take the victory 51-47.

Leading the way for Ionia Lane Thomas 14 points, Clay Currigan and Lance Atkinson both with 8 points, Tanner Gregory played a solid defensive game and chipped in 7 points, Jimmy Peabody 5 points, Cy Baylis 4 points, Kullen Granger 3 points, Harrison Yenchar and Caiden Brownell with 2 each.

Ionia JV dawgs are 3-1 going into Christmas Break.
