Ionia JV suffers first lost of the season at the buzzer 35-36.
The Bulldogs struggled all night to get things going offensively. Costly turnovers and missed free throws kept Lakewood in the game and eventually Lakewood capitalized with a half court buzzer beater to defeat the Bulldogs at home.
Lance Atkinson lead Ionia with 7 points, Kullen Granger and Tanner Gregory with 6 points, Jimmy Peabody with 5 points, Caiden Brownell 4 points, Clay Currigan 3 Points, Lane Thomas and Harrison Yenchar with 2.
The JV dawgs will host Charlotte on Thursday at 7:00.
