Ionia JV opened the season on the road with a 38-36 win against a tough North Point Christian team. Leading the way for Ionia Lane Thomas with 11 points, Kullen Granger with 8 points, Tanner Gregory 5 points, Jimmy Peabody 4 points and 8 rebounds, Cy Baylis 4 points, Clay Currigan and Holden Brenner with 3.
Ionia will travel to Portland Thursday night. Tip-off at 7:00 P.M.
