Ionia Wrestling had 6 Medalist at Lakewood Invitational

Ionia High School wrestling team traveled to Lakewood where our Varsity and Jv wrestlers were able to compete in an individual tournament. Ionia had 6 wrestlers earn medals today. Senior Carter Castillo went 3-0 and took 1st place. Senior Hunter Barker went 3-1 placing 3rd, and Sophomores Landen Steffen and Jackson Stoakes both took 4th place. Levi Schied went 5-0 taking 1st place and Jack Gardner went 4-1 and took 2nd place. Also earning wins today but coming just short of getting a medal were wrestlers Jonathan Rico and Wyatt Berry. Ionia travels to Lansing Sexton Wednesday night for our last regular season dual of the year.
