The 7th grade B team fell short again Monday, losing to Lakewood 30-29 on the Vikings court. The loss leaves Ionia with a 1-4 record.  Trailing 19-15 at the half Ionia fought back to tie the score at 25 all after three periods.   The final quarter saw the Bulldogs pull ahead 27-25 but were unable to hold on. The Vikings went to the free throw line 17 times in the final stanza to aid in their 1 point defeat of Ionia.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Evan White led the Bulldogs with 14 points 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Bryson Rayner netted 5 points. Braxtonn Renucci and Teric Hogan added 3 points each while Zayden David and Ayden Brown rounded out the scoring with 2 points apiece. Hogan cleared the glass with a game high 13 rebounds with Brown grabbing 5.  Brighton Montgomery and David both had 4 steals while Assists were handed out by Trayvin Simon and Montgomery each with 1.   Ionia will be back in action Monday December 2nd  against Eaton Rapids at IMS.
