Evan White scorched the nets for 27 points Monday against Eaton Rapids but it wasn't enough to overcome 30 turnovers and a breakdown on the defensive end which allowed the visitors to leave with a 60-40 win over the Ionia 7th grade B team. The loss drops the Bulldog record to 1-5. Also scoring for Ionia were Teric Hogan with 5 pts, Ayden Brown 4 pts, Bryson Rayner and Brighton Montgomery each added 2 . White grabbed a game high 9 rebounds while Brown and Hogan pulled down 5 apiece. Brown also handed out 3 assists. The young Bulldogs will have another tough contest on Wednesday when they travel to St Johns.
