UNDEFEATED! A perfect 11-0!  The Ionia A Team traveled to Belding and completed their undefeated season by beating Belding 25-7, 25-6.  The Bulldogs brought their A game as they dominated from the service line and at the net.  Ionia dropped in 16 aces and 13 kills.  Defensively the Bulldogs covered the court well and picked up 12 digs to help set up the Bulldog attack.  Congratulations, Ladies.  The Ionia B Team lost to Belding and finished the season 3-8.  The Bulldogs rallied in both sets and put together some strong serving and defense but came up just short.  Good hustle and teamwork, Bulldogs!

I want to recognize both teams for their amazing journeys this season.  It was an honor to coach you and to see each and every one of you grow in both skill and knowledge of the game.  Thank you for your hard work and commitment.  A Team:  Lainey Bennett, Payton Hoppes, Carmen Hoppough, Mollie Lemke, Claire Nash, Adelsye Perry, Brooklyn Shattuck and Aubree Shaw.  B Team: Lynn Bailey, Elizabeth Glaspie, Peyton Batista, Kaylee Rosloniec, Brooke Fellows, Harper Tumbleson, Aliyah Ross and Aaliyuh Swinehart

Coach Perry says, "The strength of the team is EACH individual member.  The strength of EACH member is the TEAM.  The growth we were able to witness in each athlete this season was amazing!! I am looking forward to many more years watching this group on the court!  Thank you parents and athletes for your support and trust this season."
