The Ionia Boys’ Cross Country team competed in the Greater Lansing Championship Invitational. A total of 33 teams and 26 boys participated in the race. Today, freshman Liam Thelen led the team placing 97th with a season best time of 17:58.6. He was followed by junior Jaxxon Thelen running a 34 second lifetime PR of 18:04.8 and placing 105th overall.Dallas Bailiff is a junior and he placed 157th with a season best time of 19:26.7. Sophmore Connor Morrison placed 184th overall with time of 20:16.4. Freshman Xander Towery ran lifetime PR 20:38. Junior Gabe Holman a life time PR of 21:29.4 placing him 211th. Freshmen Cooper Highlen respectively placed 228th with a time of 25:02.
The Bulldogs’ next meet is on Thursday, October 17th, for League Championship at Olivet High School.
