The Ionia Boys’ Cross Country team competed in the CAAC White Jamboree #2 at Lakewood High School. A total of 7 teams and 74 boys participated in the race. Today, freshman Liam Thelen led the team placing 16th with a season best time of 17:56.2. He was followed by junior Jaxxon Thelen running 18:38.7 and placing 26th overall. Sophmore Connor Morrison placed 28th overall with a season best time of 18:53.0. Dallas Bailiff is a junior and he placed 40th with a season best time of 20:06.8. Freshmen Cooper Highlen and Xander Towery both ran season best times 20:21.2 and 21:06.1 earning 46th and 49th place overall respectively. Junior Gabe Holman and freshman Talon Thompson respectively earned 54th and 57th place with the times 22:17.4 and 22:30.3. Tylan Daniels is a freshman who has earned his second season best time in a row of 23:55.7 placing 63rd overall.

The Bulldogs’ next meet is on Saturday, October 12th, at Greater Lansing Cross Country Championship.
